“3:08’s design of its mission is different and well executed. When we isolate listening as a first step, even as we tell our own stories we are cognizant of the group and the listening context. Each contribution adds understanding to what I would liken to a pot we were all sharing. The hope is that by close listening and substantive, honest sharing we can create knowledge as well as durable, shared signposts that help us each navigate better.”

“It reinforced just how unique each of us is, regardless of what we look like or where we came from.”

“You are onto a real lane here. People get something different with 3:08.”

“Never in my lifetime has the reality of living and working while Black been made so clear to so many. Never have so many from all walks of life stood up and signed up to be part of the solution. I answered the call to join this group of dynamic group of professionals and thought leaders so that I could help corporate leaders of good conscience start the hard work of building more equitable work cultures to enable Black people (and other marginalized groups) in realizing their full potential.”

“Different perspectives always quicken the mind and sharpen one's own point of view. The experience forced me to solidify some self beliefs not before defined. That's a good thing.”
